Part 1

Three nights ago, I was sitting around watching TV waiting to feel Claire move. I thought about the last time I felt her move and wondered just how long it was. I started drinking some apple juice and waited. Nothing. I poked, pushed and prodded. Nothing. Just an odd bump, I thought that was her so I relaxed a little. I went to J and told him what was going on, he thought maybe she was asleep, babies do sleep at some point. So I silently prayed everything was fine and told J that if she didn't get really active we were going to get assessed at L&D.

We went in about 2 hours later, since she didn't move. We went in, the nurse asked me when I was due, I told her the information and told her why I was there. She started to look for the baby's heartbeat and only found mine. After a half hour of trying she called my Dr. Ultrasound came up to check for the heartbeat and that's when they told me Claire was dead.

My baby girl is Dead.

35 weeks

Hi again!

I'm now at 35 weeks and feeling pretty big! Claire is moving all the time. I went to my Dr. yesterday and my fundal height is now at 36 and Claire is head down and engaged. She said that I'm starting to drop so things are looking good for us sometime in the future.

J and I went shopping yesterday for some last minute things, we bought our baby swing and a bouncy chair for her to play in. I had my baby shower a month ago before blogging and got some wonderful things there, lots of girly clothes and my crib from my parents. I guess this is all for now!

About Me

Hi all!

I've been lurking for some time reading other women's blogs about pregnancy and whatnot and I've finally decided to create one of my own.

I'll give a litte information about me. I am 32 years old and have been married to my husband J for 3 years. We decided after a year that we would start trying for a baby. That's when I went off the pill which I was on for about 10 years at this point. After a year of trying just before going to a fertility specialist, I finally saw the famous 2 lines that I wanted to see for such a long time. I'm now 7 months pregnant with my first, a girl. We found out the gender because we were so excited at our 20week scan. The radiologist told us without a doubt that we are having a girl. We've decided to name her Claire Ellen after my husbands mother and my mother. I think it's such a feminine name. We've already gotten the nursery set up, it's all in pink, my favorite color.

I'm not sure what else to post about, I am currently not working, I plan to be a stay at home mom while J works. If you would like to know more about me, just ask and I'll be happy to answer.

So for my first 3 months of pregnancy they were uneventful, mild morning sickness with nothing that was impossible to handle. My 2nd trimester was great, the first kicks, the rolls, I love everything about pregnancy. Now here I am in my 3rd trimester, still loving all the kicking and rolling and just can't wait to meet my little girl!
